I am trying to export an array patch antenna to gerber file but everytime it says, no layers could be determined for the gerber export. What should I do?
The gerber file output (and the dxf output too) is the part of your model which intersects the local coordinate uv plane (w=0). If the plane doesn't intersect your patch then there will be nothing to output.
To resolve the "No layer could be determined for the Gerber export" error in CST software:
1. Verify and correct layer assignments for all components and traces in your PCB design.
2. Ensure layer names in CST match the requirements for Gerber file format.
3. Double-check export settings to include all necessary layers and configurations.
4. Update CST software to the latest version, as updates may resolve issues with Gerber exports.
