In MIMO-OFDM systems, a process is made to make the estimated channel frequency responses from a number of antennas orthogonal. My question is how to remove the correlation between antennas, especially in the receiver (SIMO-OFDM system)s. I was wondering if you could provide me a name of a good reference.

In SIMO, we have one transmitter and multiple receive antennas. How the receive antennas are positioned? What is orthogonal antenna ?
In signal domain, orthogonal means, the product of two orthogonal signals is zero. Do we expect the same in this case ?
If these are directional antennas, it is possible to de-correlate the signals between two antennas. The amount of de-correlation is related to the beam width of each antenna.
The smaller the beam width, higher is the de-correlation.
First many thanks to all of you with your feedbacks. The array is uniform linear array (ULA), which consists of M identical and Omni-directional antennas. The distance between array elements is equal to the halfwave length, the carrier frequency is 5 GHz. The channel frequency responses (CFRs) are estimated using the preamble to get a matrix H_(M*N), where N is the number of subcarriers. The goal is to enhance the rank condition of the matrix H, or in another way, to restore the dimensionality of the signal subspace, by de-correlate the signals, the rows of matrix H.
