I am working on the design of some complex structured antennas using CST simulator. While simulating the antenna structure, the simulator is taking long simulation times. Please suggest how the simulation time can be reduced. Any adjustments in the mesh settings will reduce the simulation times?
u can reduce the simulation time by Follow the following steps :
** main window of CST then (simulation) then (global properties mesh) then reduce the (near of model ). see the attachment image
but if your design have tiny parts the results will be are inaccurate
Does your antenna have any geometric symmetry properties that could be exploited to reduce the number of nodes in the mesh?

You can consider the mesh properties setting as suggested by Prof. Mowafak for reducing the simulation time in CST. If you are reducing the number of cells then less accurate results could be obtained. Suppose if you want to design an antenna that operate on 2.4 GHz frequency then by reducing the number of cells, the shifted frequency you will get. So, you can enhance the hardware configuration of your system which can be reduced the simulation time.
