I synthesized PdNiCo alloy using metal acetyl acetonate as precursor. The reducing method is polyol method. The grain size of resulting particles is 12 nm.
I want to reduce it below 9 nm. Can you suggest me the method that I can do?
how did you measure the grain size, 12nm? using TEM or XRD?
concentration could be one thing to try first...
from the XRD result, the grain size is 12 nm
what can i do for reducing the size? higher or lower concentration?
to know the actual size better use TEM...and try a lower concentration than the previous...
Thank you
I will try to measure again the grain size using TEM
and I will reduce the reductant molarity
Dear Yusuf Pradesar
By using Oleic acide as a surfactant during milling may be you can reduce the grain size.
Regards
Can anyone please tell me how to reduce grain size of sample by 50%
Grain size is reduced by controlled cooling, by adding alloying elements like grain refiners.
Not many paper that I have read talk about Ni-Cr as electrocatalyst for fuel cell application. Is that possible to use Ni-Cr as catalyst for fuel cell in acid condition? If there any specific...
