Dear researchers,

I have a question about lithium-ion battery calendar aging mechanism. Suppose I have a mobile phone or an electric vehicle and I want to keep it at home without using for one to two years, what's kind of initial state of batteries can reduce the calendar aging effects? Should I keep the battery as full charge state(SOC = 1), or half of it (SOC = 0.5), or even less? In addition, what's the reason result in the calendar aging? Could someone provide answers or related research materials?

Thanks for your help.
