Herein, we have tried to record Raman Spectroscopy for Fluorescent Carbon dots with 785 nm excitation wavelength. But still, we cant overcome the fluorescent interference of the sample. Can anyone suggest me the possible methodology to acquire proper Raman Spectra of Fluorescent Carbon Materials.

In case, I have carbon dots with excitation dependent fluorescence emission properties, how can I choose Raman laser sourse? and how can I avoid fluorescent interference?
Try a pulsed laser system. I have used that to acquire the Raman spectra of fluorescent CDs. Cheers!
I faced the same problem. But, using 1064 nm excitation wavelength, we could avoid fluorescence. However, I only see the sp2 band.

you need to know the excitation spectra of your fluorescent carbon dots, using the laser wavelength below its lower end as the laser source for your Raman measurement;
the longer wavelength laser is not always a good choice, although it can reduce the fluorescence; but it will also reduce the Raman response of the O-H, C-H, N-H stretching mode due to the poorer detector sensor's response in this wavelength range (>~2800 nm).
generally, the excitation spectra started from approximately 280 nm or below to 300/or 400 nm, you should therefore choose one far below 300 nm, i.e, deep UV, as other people mentioned above.
