Given an overcomplete dictionary, a set of coefficients alpha which is k -sparse(but i dont know the locations of non-zero coefficients yet), i want to find a close match to my signal x which generated alpha. I have some theoretical ideas but need a boost up in matlab. Thank you.

Hi thanks for replying. Actually my issue is solving CG for non symmetric matrix (over complete dictionary). I have used CG for symmetric matrix so far. I have some basic understanding in what cases CG works for non symmetric matrix but I need some suggestions how can i incorporate the same in matlab.
