I have performed non linear solution in 4 Load step and 30 sub step. Can any one guide me to list the result data for every substep at once (in my case I am willing to get the strain of a single node for each and every substep at once in text file for further plotting purposes). Here I have found in General Postproc->Read Result>By pic or first set etc.
Is there any way to extract result for single node for every step at once. Kindly help me.
Yes it is possible with ANSYS Apdl langue with using of commands *get and *do. See help of ANSYS. Results could be save in array that you can plots in graph or in save in ASCI format.

In A?NSYS there is a time-history post-processor and in this you can plot the value at a node as a function of time.
Yes, it's possible. But you need to know the number of the particular node.
As others said, in Ansys mechanical APDL,
1. go to: Main Menu -> TimeHist Postpro-> Variable viewer
2. add data ('+' button) -> choose what kind of solution you want (for example EPELEQV for von Mises strain) -> provide the node number.
3. The particular result solution for that node would be listed in the variable viewer.
4. You can now plot it with respect to time (which is there by default, when you use multiple load steps) or other variables (add same way in step 1-3) or export in .csv format.
