Different cropping systems are efficient for different parameters. How to rank considering all the parameters? Is there any methodology to give some ranking (suppose in a 0-10 scale)?
Whenever we speak about cropping system, it is proposed based on site-specific manner and resources available in an agroecosystem. There is no specific ranking system but can be developed for different locations and situations.

Thank you Sir. I want to develop one such ranking for my location at Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Kindly provide some methodology/assumptions, so that I shall proceed further.
As I understand literature is available on energy budgeting,water use efficiency and economics of cultivation of different cropping systems.If you work out the above mentioned three aspects for your cropping systems of interest, you can rank them for all the three parameters.
I think , you need to develop certain indices taking into account all the important components ( For example , changes in soil fertility , changes in microbial pool, sustainability in production,water-use-efficiency , nutrient-use-efficiency , nutrient density , changes in ground water quality etc..etc) contributing towards the sustainability of such prominent cropping systems..Surely , it will vary as per location specificity...
You can go for ranksum test. Rank each cropping systems on the basis of their performace or responses towads the varied indices and add all these ranks. The highest ranked system will be the best.
