Hello colleagues,

I have a flat substrate with a metal deposit on it. Depending on the deposition rate and the ammount of deposited metal, I visually obtain three kinds of AFM images: almost flat (too slow deposition rate and little deposit), ordered crystalline geometries, amorphous deposit (too fast deposition rate).

I'm looking for a numeric parameter that descibes this behaviour. I've tried the RMS (roughness) but it also increase from crystalline to amorphous structures. There is a way to quantify the grade of order of an AFM image?
