I need to count DCX (Doublecortin) positive cells in the dentate gyrus of the hippocampus of the rat offsprings but because DCX stained outside the nucleus so, it‘s quite difficult to accurately quantify their actual numbers. I read many journals but they did’t mention about the details on how they use the program so, I want some recommendations on what program should i use and how can i count the positive cells using the program.
