Extract raw materials from the mixture

 Generally speaking the polar of ionic liquids was very strong, and they could not be disolved by low polar organic solvents, such as ethyl ether and ethyl acetate. So you can purify your ionic liquids by extraction using them. I hope this suggestion could help you.

Your alkyl chain  is too long, so AcOEt will probably dissolve your IL (depending on the amine you use) , but you could try to wash it with ether or MTBE, decolorisation with active charcoal might also work. the biggest problem will be the drying. what you should ask yourself is mainly how high a purity do you need for your application, what impurities bother you and  how to determine them.

I found that synthesizing the ILs without solvent whenever possible allowed me to use lower temperatures (≤50°C), which yielded less impurities. Otherwise, i) purification of starting materials and ii) decolorisation with charcoal have already been discussed in this thread, and are the easiest methods. Beware, however, of the nucleophilicity of your conteranion; IIRC, 

Decolorizing charcoal directly added to the ionic liquid works to remove most organic impurities, but the viscosity of the IL makes it difficult to remove the charcoal - by filtration or by centrifuging.  Addition of methanol or acetonitrile, lowers the viscosity and aids the removal of the charcoal.  After charcoal removal, a simple vacuum distillation (roto-vap) removes the organic solvent - which can be collected and recycled as well.

After the addition of de-colorizing charcoal, centrifugation using mixture of solvents like CH3OH-CH3CN followed by careful decantation may result in good removal of charcoal. Distillation of the supernatant under under high vacuum can aids in pure IL.
