Dear Mr Yaseen, an international patent does not exist. You can file an international patent application via the PCT procedure of WIPO: https://www.wipo.int/pct/en/ Have a look at the 'PCT resources' chapter on this website. What is happening is that your international application will be divided in national and/or regional applications about 30 months after the filing. This means that the most expensive term happens after the entries in national and/or regional phases. This also means that these procedure allows you, thus in a period of about 2 years and a half to prospect the market and to find out the potential of your patent worldwide. Is anybody interested in your product, where, how to deal (selling, licensing,...), etc...

When you file an application, normally in most countries, the application will be published automatically (when all formalities all replied) after 18 months from filing date.

However, you don't need to file directly on international level, you can file a national application in order to evaluate your novelty, inventive step and industrial applicability. An international search report will give you an image of your current invention regarding the state-of-the-art. However, before filing a patent application you'll have to determine if you are able to draw the patent yourself or if you need a patent attorney. The second option is preferable and for some countries mandatory. I would suggest to check the patentability of your invention by using a) https://worldwide.espacenet.com/advancedSearch?locale=en_EP or b) https://patentscope.wipo.int/search/en/search.jsf. Both patent databases are free to use and will certainly give you an nice image of your position within the prior art landscape.

After the invention is patented, the patent description can be published on scientific portals and specialized online technical industry portals. For example, you can also post a patent description on the Research Gate portal. Based on the analyzes of the markets and the potential interest of economic entities in a specific patented invention, it is possible to write an article, publish it in a journal of technical sciences and publish it on scientific portals and scientific work indexation databases.
