Our investigation group is currently working on a research about pornography consumption in adolescents and young people. We'd like to read your comments and any information you consider interesting regarding this topic. All contributions will be welcome.
In our research, pornography consumption and sexual behaviour were studied, with an aim to investigate any associations. Adolescents who consumed pornography (i.e., solo online activity) are mostly boys, with greater difficulties in relating satisfactorily (emotionally significant relationships). In addition, they have a harder time developing proper emotional and cognitive regulation.
Adolescents’ exposure to online pornography relative to their same-aged peers show greater exposure to the development of risky behaviors, such as relationships without condoms, group relationships or, in the case of boys, an increase in macho attitudes.

Prevention must be based on quality "sexual affective education", at an early age and incorporating the "critical and comprehensive view of the globalized porn industry", the "hypersexualization of women and girls and the construction of desire based on hegemonic male subjectivity" .
