In presence of the other phase the seeded in situ polymerization of epoxy monomer can be done. For this you have to fix the ratio between the previous phase and formed polymeric phase.
In situ polymerization is when the polymerization takes place after the fillers and curing agent is been added to the monomer. Usually in other methods, polymer is directly available , you disperse filler or nano reinforcement in it using sonication and then add curing agent folowed by stirring or sonication. In situ polymerization is one of the preparation methods of nano composites.

Since the 1990's by the anti-corrosion coating industry is utilizing nano fillers as a anti-sagging/anti-settling additive. However, they will prefer to disperse them in the epoxy or in the hardener.
In this case high speed dispersers with cowles blades for large quantities (1t) or two roll mills for concentrates are very effective.
If you first mix the epoxy with the hardener and only then add you nano particles the reaction will probably start before you'll be able to obtain a proper dispertion and you may have troubles with your equipments...
further you may never be able to use the prepared mixture before it sets.
