this depends on what you need to do. If the pH must remain constant would opt for a buffer solution, for example citric acid or other ... if it is not, as suggested by the colleague would use the HCl...
Hi, Abirami, I am not sure you can prepare pure water (milliQ) with pH 4.7: this water does not have any buffer capacity. You should use some buffer. Like KP or NaP or other buffers.. Good luck!
Thank you Taras. But, what is the purpose of using acidified water pH (4.7) to dissolve aqueous phase fraction. Will this salt buffers interfere?.
