I am new to Ansys
I am working on a project in which I simulate a given ( already designed ) Airfoil.
Now I have my velocity ( that I calculated from the Re values I'm targeting )
And angle of attack too ( searched for it in papers)
But my graph plots for these are showing some "iterations" I didn't know about, for velocity parameter, and the "values" for these criteria were given as 0.001.
My graphs for lift and drag were going completely off from what I expected.
But then I researched a bit, and changed the "criteria" from 0.001 to 0.00001, and now I'm getting the lift to drag ratio as expected almost.
But in papers I have read, decreasing residual values that low is tough.
But I just changed them by clicking on that box and typing what I wanted.
Can someone explain what I'm missing here?
