I am trying to simulate vortex induced vibration over structures (airfoil). I have set up the domain like in this link, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0zAHv0rEa8
The airfoil is fixed at (0,0), with this point being the center of rotation. I want to see the instability (rotational motion) of the airfoil due to vortex shedding. For that I want to plot the angular deflection (rotation, theta) of the airfoil about (0,0) vs time in CFD post. How can I achieve that?

A solution would be to record the coordinates of a mesh node on the airfoil, for instance the node at the leading-edge or trailing-edge, during the simulation. Afterwards, you can convert the coordinates to AOA using the recorded values.

I agree with Ehsan, however to acheive this you need to provide a User Defined Function (UDF) code and compile it ANSYS Fluent for the motion of the airfoil.
