Dear everyone,
while working on differential-fed patch antenna in infinite network on CST, I struggle to plot simultaneous excitations using floquet port meshed in hexahedral.
To clarify my point, i plotted the 3D structure down below which consists of a simple patch fed by 2 lumped ports head to tail:
I have good simultaneous F-parameter using post-processing tools.
However, this tool does not work when plotting the simulteanous farfield, resulting in a "farfield result unavailable" error. All the more that simultaneous farfield plot works when floquet port is off. Yet, I have farfield plot for each separated port but this is not my concern.
Please, feel free to share your experience on this topic.
Not sure if this is the answer, but the radiation pattern from an infinite array is a delta function, so perhaps it cannot be calculated or plotted.
