Hello every one,
I am using ultrafast pump probe spectroscopy to study the transient absorption of my heterostrostrucure. The plasmonic resonance is at 650nm and I want to use 650nm pump to excite the plasma and probe it in range 470nm-720nm but due to saturation of the raw data when pump is open makes it difficult. Any way to resolve this issue. In addition, I tried with linear polarized to eliminate the pump effect near to the detector.
I will be very great full of our advice.

Try to use orthogonally polarized pump and probe beams and with polarizer cut the pump beam. The amount of scattered pump beam is highly sensitive to the quality of the surface of your sample. Thorough cleaning of the surface should be repeated several times.
