How to navigate an on-orbit servicing robot in orbital transfer phase?

I have a robot in LEO orbit (with 800 km height and 85 deg inclination), and I need to capture a satellite in GEO, what kind of navigation sensors can be helpful to transfer the robot from initial orbit to GEO?

how we can be sure that our robot located exactly in the GEO?

does GPS navigation and navigation based on at least 3 ground stations location helpful in this case?
