I want to change the color of the surface plot, so that can follow the color of the contour plot. I need to choose specific colors for specific values similar to what has been done in this article

All the options that I have found using Minitab 18 is to choose between an automatic or custom color.

To my knowledge graphical features are limited in Minitab. You can use the mathematical model to plot beautiful and customized multi colour plots using matlab or softwares such as Origin etc. Please don't rely only on Minitab.
