Failure to understand IoT and big data, sources, description, associations and trends lays a strong foundation for cybercrimes of all sorts. Lack of reliable statistical methodologies limits management of IoT and big data. The standard statistical approaches including data mining classification and association models have known limitations. Yet the IoT and big data continue to grow exponentially, thus the cybercrime. The rate of crime will continue to grow until statistical analytical tools are developed to sufficiently present all the necessary information to abate such cybercrimes.
