Literature on organizational innovativeness seems to measure innovativeness based on: adoption of innovation; creation of innovation; combination of both adoption and creation. I have decided to proceed with the creation perspective. This perspective has measured innovativeness through Input approach, output approach and combination of both. Some research has synthesized input approach as innovation capacity or innovation capability. Output approach has been considered as performance of innovation process. whereas, mixed approach has been criticized. I have created a framework considering I'm aiming to measure from the beginning to the end (Input -Process-Output) to measure actual innovativeness level by calculating composite score (diagram attached here).
I would like to get your advice on it.
