i want to measure electron density with OES method, but our spectrometer dosnt have enough accuracy to measure stark broadening....i want show me any way that may be use....thanks all
If your spectrometer is not accurate enough, you can choose another method.
You can maybe us the method based on microwave absorption by the plasma. This method is not easy to implement and requires a specific experimental setup. You can find the method description in this paper: http://dx.doi.org/10.1063/1.4966048 and in also in the references given therein.
thanks mr.Aslam. i have a question. where you find that formula and this formula is valid at any condition...such as low electron density and low electron temperature?
Dr. Aslam Baig....all of the reference that you give are for high electron density...but our plasma is DC and the electron density is much lower...i only found that i can use langmuir prob...but i dont have enough space to use it. for low electron density about 10^8 cm^-3 which method do you know?
