Hello,

I am functionalizing plant xylem in a similar way to LOE team (see paper) but I am struggling to measure the conductivity. I peel back most of the vascular sheath of the petiole to make the vascular bundle more visible then I aim for the vascular bundle with my tungsten tips (used with Keithley). I think I am puncturing + destroying the vessels making my wire discontinuous.

I have tried simply applying a silver paste or a copper sellotape on the vascular bundle to interface between the plant material and my tips without breaking the material but I can see the Ag/Cu.

Does anyone have any recommendations please?
