Want to make a perfume emulsion for microencapsulation purpose. Have tried tweens, spans and other but emulsion is breaking in 1 h. The emulsion contains starch, maltodextrin as carriers. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Steva for your answer. wanted to know more about what kind of surfactants or emulsifiers can be used with perfumes?? On observation is as soon as the emulsion is prepared, the perfume layer starts separating.
That depends on further applications of your encapsulates. However, sometimes the emulsifier is not enough to stabilize emulsion. Try to increase the concentration of carrier materials too.
