Dear All,

In one of our project, 3 mol % of Al is doped in ZnO. Nitrate and Chloride were tried as precursor and NaOH and ammonia solutions were used as precipitation agent in different experiments respectively.

The prepared AZO NPs were washed several times and dried at 100 C for 24 hrs. Then calcined at different temperature from 200 to 900 C for 2 hrs. The resulting powder found conducting in powder from. When I am making the film with 50% AZO powder and 50% Epoxy resin, no conductivity is observed after curing of the film. We have changed Al doping from 1 to 5 % as well as added some co-doping of 0.1 to 0.5 % of Cu, but no improvement.

Commercially available AZO is showing acceptable conductivity in the same epoxy system after curing. what could be the point we are missing in making film ?
