I work on the subject of Seismic Metamaterials for seismic protection, I use comsol Multiphysics in my study. I need to know how to make the dispersion curve using comsol multiphysics with excel or Matlab to determine a band gap of seismic frequency
You go to your system and define a parameter ‘k’ for the parameter you can initialize the value as 0.later go to your system and choose the boundaries which are perpendicular to the propagation direction and apply Floquet-bloch periodicity and at the wavenumber in your direction write down ‘k’ that you initialized.after you finish your analysis you will choose the study of eigenfrequency and you will choose parameter sweep from the study and give the range of wavenumbers you want to get for your parameter ‘k’.after you ruh your study you will obtain your dispersion curve for yoyr system
