Actually, I want to determine the carboxyl groups of our modified bacterial cellulose samples. And for this I want to go with simple acid-base titration method. But the problem here is how to know the molecular weight of Cellulose. As the formula to determine number of COOH group is:
No. of COOH groups=VM (Molecular Wt)/1000w
Since I don't know the degree of polymerization to calculate with the formula of cellulose (C6H10O5)n. Any kind of recommendation would be helpful.
