Analysis of series resonance in a RLC circuit gives the expressions of fC (freq. where capacitor voltage is at its maxima) and fL (freq. at which inductor voltage attains its maxima), where fL>fC. The ratio fC/fL turns out to be 1-((C*R^2)/(2*L)). This ratio is less than 1, but for high C and R as compared to L (or R> (2*L/C)^0.5) fC/fL < 0. I am not able to interpret its physical significance. Mathematically it shows either fC0, or fL>0 and fC
