I am looking to find the proper way to include PV generation at load buses of IEEE 14 bus system to analyse its voltage stability. My main focus is on line losses, loadability margin, reactive power margin, bus participation factor and I would like to see how PV penetration impacts these factors. I have developed MATLAB m code for the base system and want to move to PV penetration.

and after integration you can check the load flow analysis of the full system by making the model on ETAP software, by using this you can check the all parameters of the electrical system such as voltage, active and reactive power, impedences, power factor etc.
The first step will be to treat photo-voltaic generation (PVG) as either a PQ or a PV bus. Most countries require PVG to operate at unity power or fixed power factor in which case the PVG can be modeled as a PQ bus whereas country like Germany allows variable power factor where PVG can be treated as a PV bus.
Once this step is finished, the next task will be to locate the PVG in the test system. You can choose to integrate at the end of the feeders where the voltage drop is comparatively high to make a worst-case scenario.
You can now vary the penetration level and observe the electrical parameters of interest (line losses, loading etc)
P.S. If you want to analyze in a distribution system, I advise you to use IEEE distribution test system rather than IEEE-14 bus system which is a transmission network.

Can you please suggest any website or reference where I will find the values of solar power generation on hourly basis over a year? So far I have gone through few websites where the range of PV output is in KW range, however I am after PV generation in MW range. My aim is to see how the paramters indicating voltage stability shifts with the varying PV penetration in the transmission system, I will move on to distribution system eventually.
Sharmin Rahman The key thing here is solar irradiance. You can get the irradiance data from NREL. Once you have the irradiance data , you can use Equation (6) in the attached paper to convert irradiance into output solar power (MW or kW)
Samundra Gurung I have an additional query. I am performing load flow analysis of IEEE 39 bus and need to add a PV generator. I have the irradiance data, my question is if I want to include the PV generator as PQ bus do I need to include the P as negative as its supplying here?
