I am working in grid connected permanent magnet synchronous generator based wind energy conversion system for maximum power point tracking. While i do the simulation, I am in unable to simulate more than 1 sec. It is showing that data logging error and it will show end now. Please any one tell me how to solve the issue. The generator speed, current every thing settle down before 0.04 sec.
Check your simulation configuration, your clues are:
time span, bufferLenght (I think when filled it stops)

Thank you for your immediate reply. I am not clear with your suggestion. Kindly clear how to increase the time span and buffer length in simulink out block
Are you doing the plots in Simulink or are you exporting the data to the workspace and then plotting?
If you are exporting then Simulink by default limits the data points to the last 1000 points. You can increase this.
If you are using a Scope block the history is limited to 5000. You can make this larger or even uncheck the history in which case the limit is only your PC memory.
What is your time step and what integration algorithm are you using?

Number of consecutive minimum step is 1
Mnimum , maximum and initial step are AUTO
In powergui, i have used discrete simulation type and has the sample time is 3e-6

Ok that's fine. It means that it is storing data for every variable at each time step. This means ~1 million values per second per variable, You are probably running out of memory (RAM). How much RAM does your PC have. Run Task Manager and see what RAM allocation is when you run the simulation.
Try using stiff variable step integration algorithm (trapezoidal etc) with integration step time of 0.001. Use the hit zero crossing block if you need any detail due to power electronic switching.
You did not answer my question as to the buffer sizes for export and plots. How long does your simulation run for?
Otherwise send me your Simulink model and I will run this end.
You can change the start time and stop time for the simulation by entering new values in the Start time and Stop time fields. The default start time is 0.0 seconds and the default stop time is 10.0 seconds.
Simulation time and actual clock time are not the same. For example, running a simulation for 10 seconds usually does not take 10 seconds. The amount of time it takes to run a simulation depends on many factors, including the model's complexity, the solver's step sizes, and the computer's speed.
