Dear friends, I am trying to investigate an optical structure based on a simple add-drop MRR based on silicon hybrid plasmonic waveguide, the problem is that the reflection intensity (the drop port intensity) does not reach to unity. How is it possible to increase the extinction ratio of the drop port? Increasing the radius of the ring is helpful, however I prefer to have a small fixed radius. Is there another way? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for your help, it is a simple add-drop structure with evanescent coupling between the bus WGs and the ring. It is also constructed based based on silicon hybrid plasmonic WG (silicon-low index material (polymer)-metal).
