I used laser capture microdissection, selected specific bacteria presented in ethanol-fixed slides.
And DNA was extracted by Qiamp mini kit. The problem right now is we have pretty low concentration of DNA (0.05 ng/ul by Qubit). Does anyone can suggest other DNA extraction kit for small amount of samples? Or other procedure to increase the yield of DNA?

Have you tried using the AllPrep DNA/RNA Mini Kit (Qiagen) Cat # 80204 ?

Hello Jerry Tsai I have used QIAamp UCP Pathogen Mini Kit and it worked well with swabs so it might work better than QiaAmpDNA mini. Personally I used an ffpe GenElute DNA kit for human microdissected cells that worked well and should work with u just skip deparaffinization step. Perhaps use a kit that isolates short DNA molecules from limited samples like ffpe or swabs or filter spots like Qiagen's DNA micro Kit. Good luck.
