Dear Dagmawi, I also see more projects focusing on waste management and renewable energy.  But I should share with you about SIngapore's effort to ensure food security, and a sustainable natural resource management.  Not many countries are as disciplined to control the POPULATION growth.  But the govt worked  with the private sector, and also the citizens, who were willing and disciplined!
