Here is my model. I want to get the electric field spatial distribution of the copper plate using Magnetic and Electric Fields. In Electrical Circuit, I don't know how to connect the node 4 to the copper plate in the 3d model. On the right hand of the transformer, the circuit is non-closed. I tried lumped port, but it requires two sides, which is not suitable for my model.

From what i understand from your last comment i think you want how to connect your circuit to the copper 3D model.
this can be done like this:
1- you need to create a lumped port in the magnetic and electrical fields study. in it, define the boundary that you want connected to the circuit and in the properties define the terminal type as CIRCUIT.
2- In the electrical circuit add an EXTERNAL I VS U. in it choose the P as 4 and N as 0 and in the external device choose the electrical potential V as LUMPED PORT VOLTAGE that you added before.

I get what you are saying but your circuit is incomplete. you have to have a ground connected to the copper plate or to node 2 I guess.- Badges
