Could someone tell me where I can get information about debt location. More specifically, I need to know the countries where the companies of my sample have issued bonds over a given period.
Depending on the research interest, the needed data could either be primary or secondary
There are three ways to access the certain data: The first: if the data is free you could download them from internet. the second: if the data is not free and belongs to the specific governmental or private sector you could to request them from the mentioned organization. they maybe free or they have include the payment fee. the third: you could in return for receiving data from the target organization, make a commitment and guarantee that you will provide a service to the relevant institution. I think that the Solution number three is completely legal and purposeful.
The data I need are specific. I need to know the countries where the companies of my sample have issued bonds. Such information is provided by some databases. I would like to know which ones.

1. EIKON-REUTERS (also Known as Refinitiv-Eikon or Thomson Reuters)
2. Bloomberg
3. Capital IQ (S&P Company)
4. DataStream (Affiliated with EIKON-REUTERS)
5. INFOSEL (For Mexican datasets mainly)

The only database I'm familiar with is Capital IQ and I know that the information is not available there but I I will look at the others.

and move to wherever your interest takes you.
