How to get rid of algal contamination in axenic (in vitro) plant cultures?

Does anyone have idea/protocol/suggestions/paper what to do with algal contamination appearing in plants in vitro? I do bryophytes in vitro, and I do not want to apply algicidal compounds which function so to block the chlorophyll since it kills my plants as well. Any idea how to dispose of green algae (I do believe aerophytes) without harming my liverworts and mosses?
