I found this paper using CalcPET to calculate PET in ENVI-met , but unfortunately, when i have searched the internet to know further details,i could not find http://www.urbanclimate.net/matzarakis/papers/5_P_4_Froehlich_Matzarakis.pdf
There have been few ENVI-met studies with spatial distribution of PET across the study area. Most of the studies put certain number of receptors in the site and get PET values by using Ray-man, though these values are confined to few points. There have been several studies in Germany particularly, with spatial distribution of PET. I guess CalcPET is not available for public. It would be good to know how to get it. Anyway, many thanks for your contribution ;)
PET is not difficult to compute even without using ENVI-met. There are a number of simple but good models that can estimate spatial or point PET tested in various regions. These are based on solar radiation data, surface temperature, and air temperature to list few. .
What kinds of models can estimate spatial distribution of PET. I know about the point based calculations, but in my case I need to investigate a broader area. Do they consider clothing type and level of activity in their calculation, or they are only based on the meteorological factors?
The PMV index according to ISO 7730 standard (in the Scope part) is applicable to indoor environment and with limitation in its factors (in Determination part of this Standard).
