Dear experts,

I am working on preparation and characterizations of supercapacitor electrode materials.

I am using electrospinning to make the fibers and then make calcination to make carbon fibers.

I used microwave technique to load metal(Ruthenium, Tin, Nickel) on the carbon fibers.

I have done electrochemical tests of my prepared materials. But till now I am not getting satisfactory results.

I am using 6M KOH, and scan rate of 50 mVs-1.

I attached the images of XRD (image-1) and CV results (image-2) of my experiments.

After getting no metal by XRD, I heat treated the sample till 500 deg. C for 1 hour under nitrogen and the XRD is showing the crystalline properties of metals.(Image-3)

But when I measure C-V, I didn't get good results.(image-4)

I want to know, if I have any mistake on the method or the electrolyte?

Thanks in advance.
