I am trying to use UV light source in my ALD system to initiate photo chemical reaction of the species during surface reaction of the species. As mostly bond energy between element corresponds to UV C wavelength. So, I am looking for UV C light source of high intensity, if anyone know how to get pls comment.
There mainly is the question what kind of irradiation you are looking for. The UV-C band is from roughly 280nm down to 100nm (respectively 1nm in accordance to the WHO definition). UV LEDs generally suffer from life span and intensity as far as emitted irradiation is below 280nm. Japanese company Nikkiso Giken Co. Ltd is a good source for high quality 270nm diodes. But however, in terms of the current stage of technical development conventional UV emitters (Hg low pressure lamps) will be much cheaper and efficient by far. So I would go for a conventional emitter right now. Disadvantage of Hg emitters: Keep in mind temperature sensitivity of Hg emitters.

Without optics, you can get intesnity of 50-150 mW/mm2 using commercial UV LEDs
