The most effective approach is to consult the manuals of the software packages for training materials and tutorials. Every software has training examples to show how the users can use effectively their software.

If there is training offices you can attend such training courses.

On the other side you must be well informed about the devices you want to simulate. This is a course on solar cells.

Following the above suggestion, to get the experimental data for your modelling, i would suggest that you search the publications regarding the organic solar cells, so your parameters should be within the practical ranges. You could contact the authors who published the papers to get their experimental data. Alternatively you could get some key data from their graphs too. Your parameters can be adjusted within the range.

In the first, you must use FDTD ( DEVICE part) to find the solar cell efficiency.

If you need curves, you need to write code in FDTD to find the graphs.

You can draw an I-V curve (Current density) and calculate the value of each Voc, Fill Factor. You too must know the input power value. Thus the value of the efficiency of the cell can be calculated from the equation in the link above. Thus the efficiency curve can be plotted.
