You might already know that you can estimate it by knowing the proximate composition of the diet and multiply the amount of protein, lipid and carbohydrate (NFE) with their corresponding physiological fuel values.
You must analyse your diet composition. First of all you should determine amounts of dietary protein, lipid, moisture, ash and fiber. After that you should subtract sum of these amounts from 100 to get amount of dietary carbohydrate. Finally you can use these method to determine gross energy:
