I am facing trouble to find bond angle for the cif uploaded below. I cant do it, like it doesn't gets selected the atoms for which I want to find the angles and instead gives me bond distances values, saty specially for PO4, like say for example, O2-P1-O3 molecule?
Stuck for like 2 days on this but no success. Looked on website and watched some videos but no help to find or select the atoms and find its value.
If you are asking about VESTA software, once you open a cif or POSCAR in VESTA, you can find an option to visualize the angle within the "Style" option at left.
Shrestha Dutta Thanks for the help, but these options are ON and cant turn them on/off and still by these options no help I am getting. Can you shows the steps or the cif file attached can you share what you did to find the angles!!
Anshul Sharma Please check the selected portion on left, with the sign of an angle. Clicking on the box will activate the option, then select three atoms one by one to find the specific angle. For example, if you want to visualise the angle ABC, clicking on the atoms A-B-C will pop up the angle held by these atoms at the bottom corner. Hope it helps
Shrestha Dutta Did you used the cif which I gave mam and found this angles which you selected? As I click on bond angle these options cant be modified as it gets transparent grey. Because as you said, I cant still do it.

Shrestha Dutta I think I have lack of skill operating this software. If possible can you share images of every setting in your vesta or step by step as something crucial I am missing. (Sorry for asking too much and appreciate it helping me so far along)
