I have solid spheres (D ~ 0.5 um) in acetic acid that I have to study in SEM. Any suggestions on how to to collect these particles for imaging?
Directly dropping the solution on the SEM pin won't work because the acetic acid has other materials dissolved in it and they'll come out of solution upon evaporation of the acid and interfere with the spheres.

Hi Husam, you could centrifuge your sample to collect your particles together. Then if you are unable to extract them from that you could repeatedly rinse and centrifuge them until you have only particles and clean solvent left that can then be evaporated without trouble.
