Basically nifitiread and niftiinfo functions are available in MATLAB. But when I read images from .nii extension and the image data store in any variable, but how to show in matlab or extract slices from these volume.
Have you tried the "extractSlice" function?

I m find a solution in MATLAB:
V=niftiread('brain.nii');
imshow(V(:,:,1),[])
*where I write 1 by varying this number we can extract all slices which available in this MRI volume.
how do we know on which slice we have to work on(preprocessing and segmentation).
when we extract or write each slice from volume this will be easily noted which slice under examination
Javaid Iqbal i tried the command you suggested here but it didn't worked on my data. I am working on BRATS 2018. i want to show the image which is becoming a problem for now. Can you please help me out with this?
