I want to extract reaction or nodal forces from the nodes that are constrained to form a rigid body using *Constrained_Nodal_Rigid_Body. Currently, in ASCII, nodfor and nodout show that forces are zero at all times which is not true.
Is there another keyword to use along with nodal_rigid_body?

As far as I know, nodout works only with nodes which are constrained with BOUNDARY_SPC.
Assume that you are using CNRB to connect between two parts, and you want to know the force or strength of that connections. If this is the case, I am not sure if there is any option for this.

generally speaking the SPCFORC and NODFOR give reaction forces in spc constraints and at any node respectively. While these two types of files work very well for elastic bodies, they tend to give zero values for rigid bodies.
Another file that gives reaction forces is the BNDOUT (in the case of a prescribed motion). In fact, in version R11.2.0 they have added SPC2BND in *CONTROL_OUTPUT which will convert the spc reaction forces of a rigid body into an equivalent boundary prescribed motion, meaning that the spc forces will be also output in the BNDOUT file.
If you have contact between rigid bodies, then you can use the RCFORC (gives total forces and moments) and works for both elastic and rigid bodies.
Last but not least, the NODOUT file does not give forces but the parameters that describe the response of the body (e.g. nodal displacements, velocities, accelerations etc). You can also get the response of a rigid body using the RBDOUT.
