i presume by extract from fat you mean you want to get the compound in pure form ? if that's the case then a simple silica gel chromatography would do the trick. 

Actually, I need to extract it from adipose tissue that is fresh frozen. I will edit the original question to avoid confusion.

Extraction is generally depends upon the polarity/logP of the analyte of interest. In general Bligh Dyer (Chloroform-methanol) extraction will help.
