I am final year BSc (Hons) Psychology with Criminology undergraduate. I am conducting research into my dissertation, which I am preparing for.

My topic seeks to investigate whether a particular attachment style in childhood, would affect the cognitive development of an adolescent (15-17 years of age), or more importantly that of young adults (18-20 years of age). This relates to a more concerted study, which will involve a control group, and a group of young offenders (controlling for offences); and to determine if the literature with regards young offending, impaired cognition (e.g. impulsivity and empathy) negatively correlate to attachment, is plausible?

However, I am unsure of what questionnaire would be best suited? Bearing in mind as this is a university research project, thus, resources and time (finances, recruitment, filling in, data entry, and analysis) are limited.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
